Ingraham papers consist of 20 interviews that Ingraham conducted with senior noncommissioned officers (NCOs) in 1983-1984 as part of a study he ccalled "NCO CAREER HISTORY PROJECT." Lieutenant Colonel Ingraham conducted these interviews while he was serving as a health services research psychologist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. These interviews offer an understanding of the Army in the 1960s and 1970s from the perspective of several career noncommissioned officers. The interviewees were: Command Sergeant Major Charles Adams, Command Sergeant Major [NFN] Almazon, First Sergeant Nicki Bacon, Sergeant Major Charles Barnes, Sergeant Major James W. Branch, Sergeant Major Dan Cragg, and Command Sergeant Major Charles Tucker.

Larry H. Ingraham was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. Lieutenant Colonel Ingraham was a health services research psychologist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Ingraham was a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, holds a master's degree from Kent State University, and a doctorate in social psychology from the University of Iowa.
